Comcast is by far the WORST customer service company I have ever had the agony of dealing with! They are incredibly insensitive of my time, rude, inexperienced, and unprofessional. I also agree with some of the posts I see here about false advertising. However, what is maybe most frustrating is that a NEW customer gets such a better package than a 25 year long customer. As a businessperson I completely understand the concept of offering an enticing package to get new customers but to give the same package to a long term customer for almost $150 more per month is asinine. The federal government broke up the telecom monopolies in the early 1990's but with Comcast it is worse than ever. Unfortunately it seems I don't have another choice in my current neighborhood without having to put a dish on my apartment, which my landlord won't allow. I'm determined to find another option to finally say goodbye to Comcast forever! Until then, I will do everything in my power to let people know of my frustration with this company. Shame because I'm a Philly guy originally and remember Comcast from their very early days. I've met the CEO, Brian Roberts several times and I think if he and his father (who started the company) had any idea of some of the pricing tactics and lack of customer service Comcast provides they would be shocked. At least I hope he would!
