Hi everyone, long time reader, infrequent poster.
I've had comcast service since before it was comcast in chicago (AT&T). i've only had hd dvr service for the past 4? or so years. i've never upgraded my dvr since initially getting the serivce.
I'm interested in obtaining the newest/best HD DVR device from my local office, but need to know what to ask/look for :) my current hd dvr box is a 250gb motorola box. it definitely does not record the number of hours of television programming i wish it could.
what box is it that i can i walk into my local office and request that will give me MUCH more programming hour recording than my current 250gb motorola box has? my best guess is that i need 20-30 more hours (at least, much more if possible!) in order to satisfy my most minimalist wants. There are seasons of programs I have to delete in order to stay current with my "most-wanted" programs.
I don't want a whole-house dvr unless it gives me the most space and comcast will give it to me as a single-set device.
I have a short window during the next week or two where I'm fully caught up with all the recordings/series on my DVR where I can exchange my old DVR with a new one with much more space.
What should I ask for, specifically, at the local office? Thank you so much DSLR!
/highfive!
0chilly. :)
