We wanted to switch to Fios because the Internet speeds now a days are more important then then cable tv itself because everything we watch is streamed through the internet and when not watching TV we are using the internet. Not to say the new TV we are getting needs a superior internet. Everyone told us Fios has fastest and best internet with no peak hour problems and since they offer Fios in our area why not get it, where people who can't get Fios don't have a choice. I heard Fios doesn't offer it to everyone to keep the internet working better at peak hours? Problem is we called Comcast and they just offered us a combo pack with their new home security that is cheaper then our old plan with them and cheaper then a comparable Fios plan? Much cheaper. It includes their Extreme Internet package with 105 instead of our 25 we have currently, their best DVR with all kinds of recording abilites, a home security system with three sensors for windows, door sensors and a camera with perfessional monitoring. All for Cheaper then we were paying and cheaper then of we just got their low end TV and Internet services? They also gave us HBO free for two years? Whats the catch? and why is Fios internet better then Comcast if Fios is 80 and Comcast is 105? I don't get it there must be a catch? Any Help? We just want the best TV and internet service but it is cheaper to add a home security system! Why? Help!
