I've had Comcast for 5 weeks (in this cycle), coming from two years of Uverse. A few days ago I complained about problems with the Guide ( https://secure.dslreports.com/forum/r29659781-X1-X2-Xfinity-X1-Guide-problems ) and now I am back again with another complaint. And it's only been 5 weeks!
For the past three days, whenever I try to watch an On Demand program I get 30-60 seconds of black screen with "Xfinity On Demand" or some such followed by error XRE-22-CM-FF. (see http://customer.comcast.com/help-and-support/cable-tv/x1-errorcode-xre-22-cm-ff-unable-to-play-video ).
I've tried rebooting the STB as suggested; no luck. Last night I called support and after checking my signals and initiating a remote reboot, I still have the same problem. She said a tech will call me to arrange a visit.
Frankly, I think this is ridiculous. This, along with price gouging, is exactly why I switch between Uverse and Comcast every two years.
