I recenty bought a Samsung 32" Smart TV with a built-in browser for my friend on his 82nd birthday, and provided him with high speed wifi access.
My intent was to introduce him to the Internet, in a way that would not be too daunting for him.
I loaded the TV with all of my cord-cutting credentials (netflix, prime, hulu),
and so far he is loving it.
My intent was to encourage him to get online, for the first time in his life.
Question: Is the built-in browser mature enough for seniors with no prior internet experience? (He has refused a PC/MAC, and I thought this could be a sensible approach)
Any thoughts are welcome.
