Just moved into a new construction house. Its wired with RG6 in all the rooms, but the cables have no terminators on them (just bare coax).
I understand that comcast charges $20-30 per extra outlet to 'install' cable to the rooms, but is that if there is no cable run (ie, fishing coax through the walls)? Would crimping on some end connectors be $20-30 per room? If its the latter, do techs usually charge per policy on something like that or just crimp on a few connectors as a courteousy?
I can go purchase a crimping tool if I have to, just wondering what to expect when the installer gets here.
