I'm looking to trim my high cable bill. One way would be to swap out two of my SD cable boxes, which cost me $10 a month, to a DTA.
I called comcast to inquire about these DTAs and was told i could only receive local channels (ABC, CBS, etc.). So i go to Comcast's website and it says that the DTAs receive "Digital Starter", which is up to 80 channels. So i call Comcast again and i talk to a different agent and i'm told again i would only get local channels.
Is the Comcast website wrong? I'm confused.
This is the site i visited: http://customer.xfinity.com/help-and-support/cable-tv/digital-adapter-enhancement
