I bought my wife a new TV for Christmas and later that evening I connected it directly to a cable wire that we have never used before. When I did this my cable and internet went out in our entire house. I've reset my modem and x1 box several times to no avail. Then about 3 days later it decided to start working again. And since I had not put 2 and 2 together yet, I tried to hook up the new TV again and whamo everything went out again. I've tried everything I can think of and the goobers from cable promised me several "escalated" appointments but never showed. I have another week until my appointment and I work outta the house so this is not working. Any ideas? Thanks!
