[X1-X2] X1 upgrade fee waived

So now when I log onto my Xfinity Account on the Internet, I get this popup: It basically says that they can upgrade me to X1 with Upgrade Fees waived. Is this legit? Has anyone tried this? Is there anything extra that I can expect on my next bill? Thanks
