[X1-X2] X1 DVR/Recording Space Question

I am beginning my annual "should I convert to X1" exercise. My current setup: TV1: DCX3400, 320 GB TV2: DCX3400, 320 GB TV3: DC50X (TV is old, and is RF only input) My main objective is to get more recording space and be able to record at least 4 programs at a time, as well as take advantage of the X1 features. I also would like the ability to connect TV1 (the main TV) to my sound bar via optical connector if possible. So, my questions: 1. I currently have a total of 640 GB of DVR space. How much recording space will I have on X1? 2. We currently record some programming on both DVRs (not a whole-house setup) as we may choose to watch certain programs on one TV or the other. I also need to start/stop/rewind live TV on TVs 1 and 2 independently as I can now (a must). How is this best accomplished with X1? Which boxes should I get? 3. What do I do about the TV3? It would be nice, but not required, to watch recorded programs on it. This TV is rarely used (guest room). 4. In my current wiring setup, my Modem/Gateway is split off of the feed to TV3, and the modem levels are acceptable, but at the top end of the upstream range (I do not have any problems, even in hot weather). The other two are only off of one splitter, and should be fine. I cannot redo the wiring, though a whole house amp is possible. Does X1 require better signals? Should I do a self install, or have a tech out? Thanks.
