I have Madame Secretary(8:00) pm set to record series. I manually set CBS to record tonights NCIS: Los Angeles(7:00) and Elementary (9:00). I set the others manually because sometimes the programming gets messed up and times shift. That way I ensure I get Madame Secretary recorded.
Anyway I found some time so checked my recording of NCIS to see if it recorded as scheduled. Sure enough it did. I watched the first 15 minutes then switched to watching Madame Secretary. I was about 15 minutes behind. I like it that way to be able to skip the commercials. It got to about 24 minutes recording time and then froze and only repeated the last several seconds. This is as far as I could get it to play. No further fast forwarding. Eventually I got a screen notification that there were issues.
So I quit trying to watch Madame Secretary and watched something on the DVR with my Granddaughter. Then went back to watch the remainder of NCIS: Los Angeles. Well it didn't even show it was recorded anymore although it was showing I still had time remaining to watch. I attempted Madame Secretary again but it's not letting me play any of it now. Not even the first 24 minutes I had already played. So by now it was past 9 pm so checked the recording that had been manually set for Elementary and it shows not available although still shows it recording.
So looks like the CBS programing on CBS (SD channel) got glitched somehow on my DVR.
I checked the currently recording on NBC at 9:00 pm of Shades of Blue and it seems to work.
I've had to use On Demand the day after a few times over the last few weeks to watch Madame Secretary due to screwed up scheduling. I hate using On Demand for that type programming because I hate not being able to FF through the commercials.
