It sounds like the new X2 software will in fact run on you current Pace X1 DVR box with a optional update. Comcast also unveiled a small set-top box for secondary TVs in a home. It is a third the size of a normal set-top box called "XI3" that will also run X2 software. I assume these new "XI3" boxes will work with Anyroom DVR and will be able to run the X2 software nice and fast unlike the POS "RNG150N" Non DVR HD box that they give you now.
