[Comcast Equip] New X1 install, SLOW XG2

I have the Pace XG2 in my living room, and a really small box in the bedroom. The bedroom box runs fantastic, all the apps load quickly and no lag in the guide. The Pace in the living room, on the other hand is slower than molasses and has a noticeable lag in the guide and apps. I'm assuming i'll be taking this thing back and swapping for a different model... Is there any specific one I should be asking for? I'm coming from having Time Warner Cable/Spectrum on a 6-tuner Arris box, and I LOVED TWC Navigator.. X1 to me is... an idea and needs some work, but it looks nice.
