I'm in a two year contract and wan't to change my plan. I have a double play now with lots of channels that I don't watch and does not include HBO. I would prefer a lower double play plan that includes HBO. At first cost is only a little less, but I would get HBO. In a few months my second year goes up $20, so at that point the cost savings is more.
The question is, does changing plans trigger the penalty fee? The way I read the contract it's only charged if you cancel all service. I was wondering if anyone did this and what was the result.
