[Cable Box] Is the RNG110 a reliable reciever

I may pickup a second HD receiver today at the comcast office, its for a smaller 32" TV with HDMI. I rather have the smaller RNG110 if given the option since its in a bedroom. Is this a decent box or should I go with one of the DCX if given the choice. Does the RNG110 usually get guide updates at the same time as the other Motorola boxes?
