[OnDemand] Can't get ACORN subscription to stay purchased

A couple of weeks ago, I was really excited to notice ACORN programming available -- at an added $4.99/mo + taxes/fees. From my remote, I purchased it w/my purchase code. Received an on-screen acknowledgement it was successfully purchased with my PIN and I watched a couple of programs. My subscription tier is Digital Preferred. Lest anyone ask: yes, my bill is paid in full and always before it's due so it can't be an account restriction. I did NOT receive an email acknowledgement of the purchase even 'tho my account settings are to be notified. I just presumed it was an email glitch. Hmm. Fast forward to today: tried to watch an ACORN program but the onscreen bit showed "subscription required". Grr. Entered PIN - successfully purchased. No email acknowledgement after 2.5 hrs. Any ideas of why I can't get this subscription to "take" ? You'd think CC would love to get the extra money, lol. Thanks in advance.
