I don't know how long this has been the case, but I can no longer tune either of my TV QAM tuners to KGO (7-1) or KQED (9-1). As far as I can tell, the TVs want to tune to channel 15 on 129 MHz and receive no signal. The Comcast box tunes it in fine and shows 129 MHz as the tuned frequency, although the signal is a little weak at that low frequency. It's not so weak though that it should prevent my QAM tuners from working.
Any clues on this? Is it possible those channels are being encrypted? Or could Comcast be doing something weird with the way it maps the channels to that odd midband frequency?
