Trying to lower my Comcast bill.. I got rid of the little boxes , got Roku controllers.. was dismayed that the Roku controllers didn't utilize HD when in the Favorite list.. (WOW what a bummer.. why is this??).... and missed the random channel surfing ability ...
So I go to Comcast.. get a HD DTA 100 -- 4305/000 BOX for our bedroom... and XR2 controller...
the channels work, the #'s and the volume... I tried looking up how to do favorites... nothing has worked.. I chatted with Comcast.. wasn't helpful at all. all they were doing was trying to reset my box...also the POWER button will not turn my tv on & off.. the REP really wasn't asking any questions or trying anything on my end.. which I found odd..
ANYONE KNOW HOW To get FAVORITES to work with this newer XR2 controller ? I just want to make it so I wont' have to weed through thousands of channels I don't want to watch...
