Is it serial alternative to X1? It seems to have advantage of offering only local channels with option to bundle extra including only just premium channels. For this to work I would need to get Roku device because it does not work with Chromecast streaming from phone or tablet.
I like X1 interface, and its On-Demand library offering but is it really much better than on Instant TV or to alternatives like Google Play?
I have option to renew keeping my price same I pay not for Internet only if I go with Internet Performance Pro + Instant TV 10+ for $65. I can also go with X1 Double Start for $90 that includes HD, but not DVR (probably would not really need it) and with brodcast, sports and tax fees it would be another $18-20 add-on up to total $110 ($120 with DVR).
I am divided between two options. If Instant TV is reliable, good and On-Demand almost or just as good as on X1 it probably makes more sense to go for the more economical solution.
In the end, I might as well just settle down on Internet Only and get over-top solution from alternatives like Youtube TV or Playstation Vue that are fully compatible with my Chromecast Ultra device.
