My wife and I are living in a remodeled basement apartment that currently has AT&T Uverse internet. The Uverse is installed upstairs and we are using the wireless. The relative upstairs does not use cable or internet. I have been unhappy with Uverse and ordered Comcast to be installed this Friday. While ordering, I used the chat to see if they could in the basement seeing as the upstairs does not need it. The rep said they could, so o finished the order. Now I am wondering if this will be a hassle? I was hoping to have everything down here, the modem and router, and the cable box for one tv. What steps should I prepare for or am I asking too much from a cable install person? Thanks for any tips, advice, or info you guys can give.
