[Comcast Equip] Sound Dropping Out

A little under a month ago I went to a Comcast Store to swap out our SD set top box for an HD one because we got an upgrade. Recently audio has been dropping out on all channels. The audio drop seems to last about 5 seconds. I called Comcast on Saturday night and they reset the box but we are still having problems. Also another to add is the last time Comcast came over they put a new ground wire on our drop. I have been thinking we may still have another ground wire where the line comes in. If there are two grounds could this be causing a signal issue? Thanks for your help!
