Tomorrow Comcast is coming here to do two things (supposed to be two different rollouts/technicians). The first thing is to replace my cable modem because it won't reset when they try and do it remotely. The second thing is my cable TV box is acting up also, on certain channels that I tune to (such as local Fox and CBS stations) the signal keeps going out and coming back approximately ever 1 or 2 seconds. It's on a few of the HD channels this is happening. So they agreed to come to install an X1 and set me up with a lower bill.
Since I am getting an X1, what should I make sure the technician does and what things do I need to set up while they are here for it? Being home for service calls is difficult because I'm going to school and I work, so I want tomorrows roll out to go smoothly.
