Earlier this week I had a service call because my old Cable box and my modem were both not working right, and they agreed to upgrade me to a new X1 and we set up a new plan for cheaper.
Well, they tested my modem and claimed the problem was that I had the cable going through a surge protector, and he removed that connection. After a number of modem resets and him installing the X1, we tested my internet and I got 50 down as I was supposed to. But we only tested the one time.
So the next day I wasn't getting the speeds anymore and having trouble getting my router to work with the modem.
Along with that problem was that my X1 wasn't performing recordings that I had set it to do. And today, trying to play Bill Mahr's show that I recorded, it locks up on me, and when I try to go to on demand, it won't show the available episodes when I choose the show.
Lord can anything comcast does work right? I am very frustrated. I'm getting download speeds that run all over the map, mostly below 30, often only 10 down, and my X1 won't work right and my phone service keeps cutting out during conversations.
On top of this, they've come out and done work outside down the main street near here several times of late, interrupting service.
This couldn't be more frustrating.
