Amazing! That Comcast can get away with what they do without anyone monitoring them. I have written every form, the FCC, our service commission, consumer protection. I have had them since 2007 and not with ease may I say. Their service is a disgrace. In 2007, they delivered a HD DVR box to my house when I signed up for Comcast. Today, May 16, 2014, I received a letter that they were increasing my bill (again since it just increased in January 14) by $17.95 because they said they did a revenue audit and found that I was actually using the DVR service on the DVR box they gave me in 2007. I was told this was part of my package. THey have already put it on my bill dated 6/1/14 without my consent! I am so sick of Comcast gouging us like this and no one can do anything about it! They treated me like I was Stealing recording services. Heck, this is what I thought I paid for when I signed up in 2007! They said they gave me the wrong box and "like" 7 years later they find that I should be paying for using an upgraded box that THEY gave me? Something is wrong here with this picture. Also, isn't there some kind of law where a company has to notify you at least more than 2 weeks on price increases? I give UP and ready to move on... I've been dealing with their messes and I just didn't want to have to change over all my equipment and internet b/c of the hassle...but after today, it's worth it! BYE BYE Comcast. 4th in my family to switch to a competitor within a year.
