Hi everyone -
I signed up for the 24 months "Starter SurePrice Double Play" deal about a week ago online on the Comcast website. I have the install scheduled for this Saturday.
I've realized that I actually should have ordered the 24 month "Preferred SurePrice Double Play" deal.
After reading all the Comcast customer service horror stories, I'm wondering if I am playing with fire.... But, if I call Comcast on the phone prior to the install, what are the odds they will be to switch me to the other package and keep the promo deals attached? (Visa gift card, 24 months HBO, etc.) Are they likely to screw it up, or would it likely be a simple matter?
Also, will doing this cause them to change my install date?
