I currently have FIOS with their DVR. I was contacted by a Comcast rep trying to get me to switch. At first he said that the set top boxes used remotely to access the DVR can do everything. When I asked more specifically he said they couldn't pause live TV? Is that really the only limitation? Also does that apply if you are also recording the show? My brother will often record a game, pause several times when he gets food etc., then delete the recording at the end. If it helps I live in the Boston area. He didn't use the term but I think he is describing the X1 platform. He said cloud storage for the DVR will be available "late summer"
