I just added digital economy as a backup for when DirecTV goes out and for the music choice channels (which are worth the cost difference alone) and they issued a DCT 700 per my request for its small footprint. At least they did not give me a high school era DCT2000.
I called the 800 activation number and all I'm getting is the basic channels. And I called CS and they could not get a return path from the box even though my modem is working fine.
I guess I'm headed for another long wait at the Comcast office. I don't waste my time with truck rolls since I can do a better job of troubleshooting that the techs and CSRs combined.

I've experienced ImOn (when they were McLeod USA), Mediacom, Comcast, and Time Warner and I currently have DirecTV. They are much better than broadcast TV.
I have not and will not cut the cord.
