My dad told me that when he wired his house in the 80's, the cable company gave him the cable and connectors required to wire the house.
I was wondering if this was still the case with comcast? Say I needed about 200ft of cable, would they provide if you were doing your own wiring, or would you need to buy it at lowes, home depot, etc...?
I'm thinking that it's UNLIKELY that they still do this. Still on topic, I saw quad shielded RG6 at lowes would that be the correct cable to buy? If not, are there any guidelines on what I should purchase as far as cable and "approved" splitters/ends? Thanks for any help.
