[Comcast Equip] Help with a Pace DC50Xu DTA & IR blasting

Hello all, I recently upgraded from Windows 7 SP1 to Windows 10. Because of this, Windows 10 does not come with Windows Media Center. I was using Windows Media Center to watch TV on my PC with my Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-2250 card. I currently have the leftmost cable from this page hooked up to my card: http://www.hauppauge.com/site/webstore2/webstore_remote-mckit-hvr2250.html The BlastCfg program from Hauppauge's WinTV8 seems to "see" the DTA remote and learn it, but it can't blast the IR signals out to the DTA box. It blinks, but does not change channels on the DTA box. Upon searching and searching, it looks like the Pace DC50X/DC50Xu DTA boxes use the IR XMP protocol, which seems to be hard for the blasters to use. I don't know why this is as the blasting worked fine when using Windows Media Center. Others have used custom XMP cables to connect the IR blaster port directly to the back of the port on the Pace DC50X/DC50Xu DTA box to bypass blasting altogether. Any help or suggestions regarding this would be appreciated. For now, I'm using the DTA remote to change channels instead of my PC. Thanks all.
