I have a few questions on a SD DTA swap.
I am strictly on a Limited Basic plan.
Am covered by the agreement between Comcast and I believe the FCC.
When Comcast went to all encrypted content. I was allowed three SD DTA's at no cost and the forth one at $.50
One of them failed during some recent storm related power and cable outages.
The Comcast agent tried multiple times to reset it and then said a replacement would be sent and I should return the old one.
I received the replacement today and it was a HD DTA.
Since the local Comcast store and UPS Store are in the same town. I decided to use the Comcast store and not the prepaid labels.
Any thoughts on me being charged for HD programs and maybe the extra cost of an HD DTA?
Anyone know what should be returned besides the power supply and DTA? Like the old remote and cables from the old self instillation kit?
Thank you in advance for any assistance you can give me.
