So every time my subwoofer plays moderate to loud bass something inside my Arris/Motorola Comcast DVR rattles quite loudly. I thought maybe this box was defective but I've come to find the 2 other DVRs in the house have the same exact problem. Putting them on a sound isolating pad doesn't stop this rattle. So my only option is to open it up and do something about it. If Comcast somehow figures out I've done this, which is unlikely because I bought a replacement plastic tab, what do they fine for such a thing? This isn't against the law as long as I'm not trying to steal cable right?
