I signed up for new service in Chicago and was confirmed to received a cable card. (Twice - and I have emails to prove it as well as a transcript of a chat session.) Now the tech arrived today and he's saying "No cable card for you!". He says they are all out and don't plan to get any more. I ordered a Tivo Roamio with the expectation of using the comcast cable card.
Questions: Are they really required to provide one, and if so, how do I get them to do it?
