I got my legacy services finally fix yesterday. Now since my services are fix, I would like to potentially upgrade to the X1 service
I try chatting with a Comcast Sales Agent and they were all over the place with the info. So I decide since you'll have been very helpful to me, I would get you'll advice
My current setup is 3 total rooms, 2 basic digital cable boxes and 1 DTA adapter. I have t.v. and internet with Comcast
I have absolutely no interested in phone
Let me ask the following questions
(1) Can I get X1 on just a Double Play deal?
I read when X1 was 1st introduced, you could only get X1 on a Triple Play deal
(2) I only want to upgrade 2 rooms with X1 and keep the DTA for the 3rd room, is this possible?
(3) Chat told me if I upgrade to X1, my Double Play package price would remain the same, is this true?
(4) Chat told me that no Tech would need to be roll to my house since I have service already. Chat also told me my Aris modem is compatible and would not need to be change out
I told the Tech that from what I read that a Tech would need to be dispatch to place a filter on my line for X1. She said no, that is only for people with no service at all
Is this true or not?
I want to get you'll advice before I jump into the deep end of the X1 pool
