[Equip] "Mid-Sized" Box Same Power As Current Slightly Larger Box?

Not at location (SE Florida), and don't have model numbers, but maybe this can still be answered. Client has multiple sets. One with the large "main" STB (perhaps with the DVR), two sets with much smaller boxes (approximately a bit smaller than Tarot card sized). Those three sets all have the Voice Remote, receive premium channels, On Demand, and display Comcast "HD". One of the two sets with the approximately Tarot card sized boxes (with green flashing vertical strip on the right side when booting/initializing, which changes to solid blue when running) is intermittently showing "No Signal", and also a solid green screen. This has only happened twice, so far, and both times cycling the box's power cleared the problem. It's installation makes reaching it's power supply (and more) very difficult at the moment. We received a replacement box from Comcast, hoping that a swap of just the box, and then maybe also the HDMI cable, if possible, would clear this up. BUT: The replacement box is not identical in size. It is slightly smaller, but still definitely larger than the other SD/Limited Channel boxes. I think it is ARRIS. It does say 5V at it's input. Forgot to look at the input of the current box, and didn't try matching the current power supply plug. I can't post from this location. Is this just a newer model? If the current power supply plug is fits the new box, is it fine to use it that way (at least for now)? I know this is very limited info, but any assistance would be much appreciated. Also, they charged $15 to send the box. Would there be an additional charge to roll a truck to deal with this? Thanks very much! [Edit: Wrong Forum. Requested move to X...-TV]
