I had a cable box go bad on me. I have restarted it bunch of times but that did not fix. I called support to "send reset signal" and that did not fix.
Tech came in and swapped the box. All good, and now I got a installation charge.
Called support last week and lady created a ticket to dispute the charge. They wanted me to wait a week for this to be disputed. Asked for a supervisor. Supervisor says he will wave this fee, but next time a box is replaced they will charge me install fee.
How is this acceptable. I am leasing the equipment from Comcast. I did not damage the box (water spill, hammer drop, etc). The supervisor says next time tech is on site for any work weather it's swap a box or rerun a wire there is a charge involved.
